At Denvir’s Coaching Inn Downpatrick, we take great pride in preserving the traditional charm of a country home. From the impressive 17th-century open fireplace in our restaurant to the cosy wood-burning stove in our snug lounge area, we maintain the rustic and welcoming atmosphere that makes Denvirs special.
Denvir’s is the oldest surviving Coaching Inn in Ireland that still operates as such. It is now a Grade ‘A’ listed building that has been sympathetically renovated while retaining its original character.
When you step through our doors, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time. The original oak beams, huge fireplace, and stone floors of our snug bar create a haven that is perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a busy day.
The Downpatrick hotel has nine bedrooms including two apartments, a cosy restaurant and our famous snug bar and lounge. There are also two function rooms for hire.
